Alessio albi biography sample form

Alessio Albi is a 29 year old photographer from Perugia, Italy and mainly focuses on portrait photography, storytelling, cd covers and advertising. Alessio interests me as his approach to portraiture is not ordinary as he utilises the different distinguishing features of each setting to add interesting aesthetic amongst the composition and frame of each portray it.

To incorporate these aesthetics and additional drama to his portraits he uses various elements of where he is shooting, specifically nature. I like his use of very desaturated tones and the green, cyan and blue tones creating very cinematic and atmosphereic portraits. He does this in a more controlled environment in comparison to the images above.

These portraits are alsoa mixture of extreme close-ups and close-ups.

He uses either tungsten with very harsh shadows or has some blue tones complimented by cyans and greens. I am asl ogoing to experiment with these kind of images and using natural light. I was also thinkng of using a projector to create the light source as I have seen photographers use this technique before and I have always been interested but never had the chance to experiment with it.
